Biography

Griffith Art Gallery is pleased to represent this talented oil painting artist.

Rodrigo, employing a palate knife to lay heavy impasto strokes on a cotton canvas, paints in a way that few artists can emulate.  Currently, Rodrigo is focussing on creating landscapes and transitional paintings that most viewers would atribute to being reminisent of Monet.  Depicting scenes of forests, streams, and ponds imersed in diffused sunlight, Rodrigo continues to apply his creative talent in a way that is restful while delighting the eye with rich color and texture.

Contact The Brothers Griffith at 205-985-7969 or email griffithgallery@bellsouth.net to view all the available paintings by this talented artist.

Framing, crating and shipping available.

A 20th century style of painting in which nonrepresentational lines, colors, shapes, and forms replace accurate visual depiction of objects, landscape, and figures. The subjects often stylized, blurred, repeated or broken down into basic forms so that it becomes unrecognizable. Intangible subjects such as thoughts, emotions, and time are often expressed in abstract art form.
