Biography

I am native of Sherbrooke (Qc, Canada).  From 2003 to 2006, I have attended Pierre Jeanson's art workshop and in 2007,  I was at the Montreal Fine Art School.

From 2005 to 2008, my paintings have been chosen for the Red Cross auction.

In 2010, I shared an artist's studio in Magog, Quebec, Dame Lachaise, with the following Quebec's renowned artists: Jean-Paul Lessard, Michel Fortin, Andree Marcoux,...

I am a member of the artist's collective Zone-Art.  My paintings are exposed in Gallery Farfelu, in Sutton, Quebec.

An art style which emphasizes the personal, emotional and dramatic through the use of exotic, literary or historical subject matter. A European movement of the late eighteenth to mid nineteenth century. In reaction to neoclassicism, it focused on emotion over reason, and on spontaneous expression. The subject matter was invested with drama and usually painted energetically in brilliant colors. Delacroix, Gericault, Turner, and Blake were Romantic artists.
